Why was it retired so young? Town near here has a 48 Chevy pumper on 1st standby duty, We have a 55 Ford F700 on first line duty. Just glad to hear of an old one getting back in shape, good going! Oh Yeah, the town also has a brass era Model T Ford for parade use, has taken best of show too, not an acquisition either, been part of the fire department since the Great War! John in Nebr.
