258 jeep water pumpPosted by Ken C. on July 21, 2005 at 20:15:47 from (209.209.198.181):
I got a jeep scrambler from a man, said it ran hot and could not fix it. I've been looking for any ideas why, radiator redone, thermastat out, hoses changed, then i was looking around in the back and found some surpintine pulleys and this one has v belts. Did some model jeeps maybe have a reverse rotating water pump and someone changed the pump onto this one and the pump turning backwards. The one i have is 84 model, anyone know if the 258 ever had flat belt. Thanks for any help,Ken.
