Ford F150 '97-'00Posted by James on May 31, 2002 at 15:47:40 from (216.68.31.51):
Are these trucks reliable? I am thinking of purchacing 5 or 6 for company use at my marina in Southern Florida. They would be used to haul small to medium sized boats. Would the engines and transmissions be able to handle this? They would haul these boats almost every day. These trucks are the most reasonable when it comes to the price. I do not know much about Ford trucks since All I have ever owned have been GMC's. I want to be able to let my employees use company vehicles. I have put too much money into my Sanoma, 1500 1/2 ton and I don't want to have to put my new 3500 deisel dually in the shop any time soon. If you have any input rather good or bad on these F150's please let me know.
