A friend of mine put a 351C into an 80 something F250. The motor mount and the bellhousing bolt patterns are the same between the two engines. He said there was no oil pan interference either. I personally like the "Clevelands"; however, they were only built from '70 to '74 and are getting a little scarce. If the price is good enuf, you may want to consider it. BTW, if it's only a short block, you will find that the 351W heads and intake do not bolt on. You'll need a 351C intake and heads from a 351C, 351M or 400M. As Jon said, they are totally different from the 351W except for their displacement. I have this stuff, but it's too much hassle for me to ship it. If you live within driving distance of Cobleskill, NY, you could pick the stuff up from me real cheap.
