In 1963 the engine was changed considerably, block, everything, if you have a 1967 engine, its a 230 or a 250, maybe a 292. motor mount location, bell housing, all was changed, without modifying things, you'll have to find a 235 engine, from a 62 or older vehicle. The car engines will fit too. may have to watch the oil pan sump, on some engines, may not clear your cross member. john
