The 1960 uned a torsion bar suspension and the 1971 ahd a coil spring suspension. The control arms are differant and you would have to change the whole crossmember to use those parts. I don't know if the spindles will fit on the 60 arms.
Why not get the 60-64 V8 mounts for your truck or build brackets for the side mounts. Power steering for those truck was on the tie rods and used the same gearbox.
Check with LMC truck parts.
