the value of any truck really depends on how much sentimental value you put into it, or how bad someone wants the truck.ive already invested over 11000.00 in my truck and its still in peices and i dont have a motor or transmission. i would say the 1960 has a little more book value, but not much.
once you get the right parts for the motor(modified engine mounts) and modified transnission cross member the rest of your problems sould be relatively easy.
if you dont get those two right your v-8 will tear itself out of the frame. on the engine trade if you have the original motor thats like throwing away a gold bar . but thats a choice you have to make. good luck to your restoration. hope you post some photos
