I own a 1985 F150 that is used daily as a farm truck as well as to drive to work. It logs anywhere from 25 to 100 miles a day, on everything from concrete to mud. I bought this truck with 128, 000 miles on it (it replaced an older one that had logged 287,000 miles on the original engine). All that I have done to this truck mechanically other than having to replace the starter when I got it, is routine maintenance. Ford trucks have legendary reliability, and I would'nt hesitate to buy another one when I finally have to give this one up.
