I don't want to tell you what to do but I was just wondering why you want to use a turbo 400 tranny? A turbo 400 sucks power and is heavy. A turbo 350 will hold up to just about anything if properly built. The 305 can't have that much power that you need a turbo 400. I would use a turbo 350, but like I said I don't want to tell you what to do. I have a turbo 350 in my 77 Nova with a built 327 and it is excellant.
