'69 Chevy truck

I have just purchased my first project truck. I am what one would call a monkey wrench I guess, not too much experience. I was wondering if anyone had info on where to find used motors that need rebuilt. I am thinking about a 454 but probably am going to settle for 350. Do I have to find a motor for a 69 chevy or would any do? I want to try and keep it as original as possible. Thank you for helping a rookie:-D
