If the truck had a small block V8 (350 etc), any small block (58 on) will bolt in with no problem. The big blocks (396, 454) used differant engine frame brackets that get pricey. The small block frame bracket form 67-72 are the same. These trucks also used the short water pump as oposed to the later long warer pump. Either will fit with the right accesory brackets and fan spacer. All chevy V8's have the came bolt pattern on the back. Any thing can be made to fit if you have the talent and know how.
