removing rear brake drums

Posted by Scott (TN) on June 05, 2002 at 06:51:25 from (138.164.194.139):

I have a `53 chevy 3/4 ton that I am redoing the brakes on. Problem is I have one rear drum that will not come off. Have tried all the spray stuff on the adjuster and it still refuses to move. Any ideas before I take the blue wrench to it and have to shell out $140 for a new drum?

Thanks in advance
