Generally, L-series trucks were built from late 1949 thru 1952. In some states, they were titled as whatever year they were first sold...which is why there are some L's registered as 1949 models, as well as some registered as 1953 models...but generally, they're considered to be 1950-52, with the R's beginning in 1953.
