69 chevy truck steering nut

Posted by Steve Wild on September 06, 2005 at 09:43:00 from (68.191.75.205):

I just bought a 69 chevy stepside and had to rebuild the column and buy a new steering wheel. The nut that the previous owner put on was metric. Needless to say the threads are partially stripped. Does anyone know the correct size of the original nut including the threads? Thanks Steve
