Yep,the rebuilt cylinder is the way to go. Very little more money than a kit and the cylinder bore will be new with no rust pitting.
What leaked on your floor better be DOT 3 brake fluid and not oil. I bought a truck where some Einstein had put oil in the hydraulic clutch. It ruined all the rubber parts in the master and slave cylinder.
