Get a simple test light, the kind with a plastic handle enclosing a bulb and a needle like probe, see if there is current into the socket, On this series Ford, the grille, radiator saddle assembly can become ungrounded from the front clip. The turnsignals, park lamps, ground to the grille area metal. Loosen and retighten at least a half dozen of the bolts that hold the radiator saddle to the sheet metal, once you know that there is power to the socket. Many times a single headlamp that burns rather yellowish, is caused by a poor ground. And not so rarely, but on a truck this old the light switch may be dirty, try flipping the turn signal lever a few dozen times to clean up the contacts. John in Nebraska
