yeah, thats what i was thinkin about the parts, im not worried about having to fab brackets and whatnot, just never done any work on those generations of trucks, but i have rebiuld a 700r4 out of an 84 suburban and a few 400s from a 73 and 79s and 350s and few others, i have a t350 i just rebuilt so i was thinkin that, but i dont wnat to screw with computer bullshit. just might as well rebuild it, but its kinda a drag cause i live on an island in alaska so i doubt ill be able to find a good torque converter here so ill have to order that and im hoping its a good core, another hard find here:( thanks.
