Posted by Craig Nelson on October 04, 2005 at 18:49:28 from (24.16.147.139):

I have a 1976 International Loadstar 1700 with a 304 engine and manual transmission with a 2 spd rear end.

I would like to put a larger 345 or 392 engine in it and was wondering if anyone has any experience they can share with me regarding this endeavor. Of immediate concern to me is if the engine block all use the same engine mounts, will the larger engines bolt up fine to my transmission, is the 392 to large for this truck.

Any help from the experienced audience will be appreciated.

Craig
