personally,i flat out love the lil 283 v8(& i'm pretty much a mopar guy).would trade any 2 350's for a good 1.use it,just don't cut any corners & do er right...have seen 283's go 250.000+ miles without a rebuild & still run fine(with proper mantainence of course)...will be just fine for a driver...you will need to replace rear & update brakes.look for an old(mid 60's)chevy van.the small ones.the front & rear axles should be bout right for width & have better brakes...
