Be thankful it is only the oil pan. On my 98 Ford F-150, the Crankshaft went at 80k. Those oil pans do rot, due to road salt. My Ford had the 4.2 v6 in it. Talk to a Ford tech, maybe the engine would only have to be raised and not taken out. Check out www.f150online.com, many answers and experience with Fords there. Good luck.
