I don't want to seem nit picky, but two things you mentioned do not go together. 100,000 miles on original equipment tires is very rare if not impossible. In 1970 if a person got 40,000 out of a set of tires it was something to brag about.
I sounds like you got a nice truck regardless. If it were MY grandparents truck, no amount of money would buy it.
