The correct answer of course is that it's worth whatever someone will pay for it. If you can drive it home (safely) it's probably got a sound tranny and rear end, and serviceable brakes and steering, so I'd say the seller might expect $500 for it. If it starts up immediately, and the brakes work good and steering is tight, maybe twice that. If the body is in good shape with maybe some minor surface rust, maybe $1500. If you have to tow it, and it has big holes in the body, then $100-250. Now, since it may have sentimental value to you, you would probably be willing to spend a little more than the average buyer, just to keep from waiting for a better deal. As a point of comparison, I paid $1250 for my '50 F-6 Ford, steering good, tires good, engine seems strong, brakes kinda work, body has no holes, but floor has some rust-thru. I probably could have found one for under $1000 in that shape, but I had to act fast, as my wife was outa town. ;o)
