1975 Ford L600- stuck 361Posted by Farmer Pick on November 07, 2005 at 17:34:39 from (69.221.172.101):
I have a 75 L600 that sat for 3 years and the engine is stuck. Does anyone have a sure-fire way of freeing them up? The guy that gave me the truck said the solenoid was bad so I replaced it and the starter, but it wont even try to roll over. I tried to pull it with a 50 hp tractor, the truck rolls fine but as soon as you dump the clutch, its like throwing out an anchor. I dont want to sink a ton of money in it so an engine swap is not an option unless any of you NE Ohio guys have a good one sitting in the barn??? Thanks in advance for any advice
