140 miles or around the block, how much is your life worth or that of someone you love? The difference in price between a class 3 and a class 4 isn't that much and weight distribution or leveling bars are a must with either one. Also any trailer with a gross weight (trailer plus load) of 1 ton or more needs brakes. It's the law here. Most travel trailer dealers can advise on what setup you need for the weight you want to pull and you may be able to get some used equipment from them that they took on trade. Don't forget the transmission oil cooler if you want it to live and never tow in Overdrive with a 700R4, they can't take the heat.
