79 C10 Can't find EGR Thermal Vacuum Switch @ Stor

The EGR TVS is broke on my 79 C10. This sits in the coolant passageway and when it warms up lets vacuum to the EGR Valve. Went to Autozone and Napa and they don't have a replacement part(I can't hardly believe this). Where would I find this part? The truck runs pretty good, but I would like to fix this. If I can't find a replacement - what happens to the engine if the EGR valve doesn't open anymore. Thanks in advance.
