I have a 1977 GMC with 109000 miles on it. The engine has recently started giving me trouble again. I thought it might be the distributor so I replaced it. Checked the compression...all within range...new plugs...wires...etc. It still misses when I tromp on it. Seems to be running on less than 8. Question: Should I try another intake and carb? Is there any hope for a 305? Should I just put a 350 in it? What do you think??
