72 Chevy rear end swap Will it work?Posted by Joe in MO on June 19, 2002 at 13:10:06 from (166.40.0.55):
I have 72 chevy that needs a new rear end, I have a neighbor that will give me a 78 chevy setup ( I have to do some work for him) it is a heavy half with leaf springs, the question is, mine is coil springs will the heavy half springs and rear end bolt up to mine? do I need to take the driveshaft as well? I need to get this back on the road, and if I can get the heaver springs under it,, I think that would be better. also would save me some $$$$ which will definetly help right now... THANKS
