My Ford all the sudden started dying and hesitating real bad when accelerating(motorcraft two barrel)Friday carring my wife to the hospital(kidney stones again).The linkage rod connecting the accelerator pump to the throttle lever came loose at a plastic connector.I had another from a donor truck that had a metal clip instead of plastic installed it and bingo works very well now.It was acting up in heavy traffic(6 lanes)on a Friday afternoon,whatta bit#!.
