tilt front end on a 80 gmc 6500??????

I have a question, maybe it can be done maybe not,,,or,,,,,,,,,maybe they even have one that I can just put on,,, but I would like to make my front end a tilt style,, is this possible, maybe welding up the fenders and the hood???? any body ever try this before, I know they do it ion show trucks ,, {this aint one} hahaha,, my father in law has a 78 ford that has a tilt front end and man what a dream to work on,,,, I havent really thought seroiusly about it yet ,,,, but am thinking on it,,, or maybe someone knows if another style truck,yr or model would have mnade a tilt front thanks?
