A little more off topic. Check your trailer axle after overloading it, also check anything else to see if it bent. I've overloaded my trailer once and bent the tongue. It caused catwalking, ir I wouldn't have caught it. Also, I was doing a neighbor a favor and towing his trailer loaded with his junk van to the junk yard. Almost there the spindle snapped off of the tubing where it was welded on. Turns out the axle was half way off before hand because of the rust. When the spring mounting bolts came down into the pavement it ground a half inch off in about 8 feet of sliding. It also snapped off his ball and safety chains. He had to hire two wreckers to remove the junk van from the trailer and another to remove the trailer.
