thank you for the reply. I did some reading on valve seal replacement. Seems like all I need is an overhead spring compressor, an air compressor; pull the spring retainers, replace the seals, and reinstall retainers. sounds easy right?

I will pull plugs and see if there is one cylinder that is more fouled than the other's...could be oil from one or two.

If the case, wet and dry compression should tell me that it's a bad seal for exhaust or intake valves?

If one bad cylinder/valve cylinder I will still repalce all seals at the same time.

good idea?
