Paging Jon HagenPosted by grabatire on January 11, 2006 at 18:29:41 from (216.95.83.37): Jon; In your Dec 23rd post you asked if the mixer is a 300 or a 445. I replied on the 28th that it is a 445.I was wrong. It is a 425. I checked with the local used parts place. They had several 425's and a couple 300's, but no 445's. The 300's were attached to gas carbs for dual fuel service. Because I want to stay with a propane only system, should I try to find a 445? In your 12:34 AM Dec 29th post you mentioned the spring color in the secondary regulator should be blue. Pardon my ignorance but what or where is the secondary regulator. Is it the final stage of the vaporizer? When I took it apart to clean it, it appears to have a primary and a secondary stage. I can't remember if the fuel lock also doubles as a regulator. I haven't checked any spring colors in the vaporizer, if that is where the secondary reg is, but I did check the mixer and it has a green spring in it.
