You WILL find the engine a little short on power but they seem to go forever. The carb. is probably of the Holley 2300 series with a manual choke and a throttle control cable. They tend to stick the float open and the engine will still run in a flooded condition. Mine is on the rebuild counter as I write. They are good old trucks that can be bought reasonably and most parts are still easy to find.
