it should work fine if it's a manual tranny.your idle will get a bit lopey though...you might look into replacing the valvesprings too as the early 360's had low pressure ones...BTW,the early 360's were built on 340 cores & have a .040 smaller bore with a longer stroke.it is possible to bore .040 over & use stock 340 pistons & they can be bored .080 over safely...most 360's had cast cranks & shouldn't be wound past 5000rpm's...
