Re: 1962 Chevy Stepside C10Posted by Darren on January 26, 2006 at 11:18:32 from (134.29.70.68): In Reply to: 1962 Chevy Stepside C10 posted by Mark on May 05, 2005 at 13:42:39:
I was told by a friend that all, but maybe only some, 1961 and 1962 Chevy trucks with 6 cylinder engines and "3 on the tree" shifting came with a smaller Saginaw tranny in relation to the 3 speed Saginaws that are so abundant in the 70's and 80's pickups. Is there any truth behind this? If so, does anyone know where I could get close to Minnesota? If anyone has any info at all on these transmissions please email me at desser88@hotmail.com Thank you!
