Just wondering if anyone knows much about early 60's Chevy transmissions. I was told by a friend that all, but maybe only some, 1961 and 1962 Chevy trucks with 6 cylinder engines and "3 on the tree" shifting came with a smaller Saginaw tranny in relation to the 3 speed Saginaws that are so abundant in the 70's and 80's pickups. Is there any truth behind this? If so, does anyone know where I could get close to Minnesota? If anyone has any info at all on these transmissions please email me at desser88@hotmail.com Thank you!
