Re: IH 1969 truck 2wd, 345 V8, low milesPosted by Hawkeye on June 26, 2002 at 11:08:55 from (216.51.136.33): In Reply to: IH 1969 truck 2wd, 345 V8, low miles posted by Gregg McFarland on June 25, 2002 at 20:24:19: IH trucks have their own loyal enthusiasts, people who will search for years for just the right truck. I once owned an old International 1 ton truck that I used on the farm. It had been used as a welding truck and had a flatbed and a homemade front bumper. Definitely not an original, rusting out pretty good, not running the best...the usual suspects. I advertised it for sale on an old truck site and sold it pretty quickly. The fellow I sold it to put some work into it and sent me some pics of it when he got it all fixed up. I went back to the truck site I sold it at and saw it was for sale again, for six times what I sold it for to him. The point of the story is that with the truck you have, you should find out what you feel it is worth and stick to that price. Buyers for something like this are out there. Another link you might look into is www.scoutconnection.com. These guys are full-time IH restorers and parts suppliers. Hawkeye
