Yeah, most of the muscle cars also didn't have a long stroke engine for more torque, short stroke for more RPM'S!!! This is why I always favored Straight 6's in my trucks, herds of low end grunt!!! Darn V-8's, can't ever get them up into the rpm range for them to work good, but I found the answer in GMC's radical "new" engine- the 305 V-6 ;-)
