Dad used to drive for a livestock hauler 40 yrs ago.... Had a '58 or '59 GMC single axle tractor with a Pontiac 389-4bbl in it.... Dad would get home from Chicago stockyards an hour quicker the nights He'd run that thinh instead of the Chevy-6 powered tractors... Cousin also drove a tandem C-60 grain truck.. about '65-'66 vintage with a 375 HP 327 Corvette engine in it for power. It ran pretty good too but had a REAL short fuse....Cousin put 20,000 miles on it one fall, Guy that replaced Him blew the engine up 3 times in 20,000 mi.
