79 F100

Reciently bought a 79 f100. It has a new coil, plugs, wires, and distributor. When you try to crank the truck it will not fire until you pull the coil wire to the end of the coil. Then it will fire and run until you puch the wire in(which kills the motor) or pull it out. Also checked the RF module over the wheel well at the auto parts and if tested good.
