I have a 93 F-250 with an E4OD. Intermittantly, while ascending a grade in 4th on the freeway at 60 mph the trans will shift to 3rd, slightly loose power and make a rumbling sound with a slight shudder. It also happened while accelerating on a mountain road at 45 mph. Is this an electronic control issue or are there mangled metal parts inside?
