Good idea.

I took out the thick layer and used 3 cans of carb. cleaner. The carb. cleaner melted the gum off. I will do the diesel flushing next. I have opened a lot of old tractor transmission covers, but have never seen anything like this.

The truck sat in a firestation its entire life. It still has the original tires on it.
