Posted by the preacher on March 11, 2006 at 16:15:49 from (152.163.100.137):

I have a 1947 Ford 1 1/2 ton truck. It has the factory two-speed rear, vacuum actuated, a 4-speed trans, and a flathead v-8. My question is, what do you all think the top speed would be, and what would be a realistic redline limit for the engine? At 2800 rpm's, it seems like the engine is screaming, and i'm getting passed in a 55 mph zone. Thanks
