That would have been the grill from the thirties, sometimes designs don't appeal later but that's history. The 471 (Detroit Diesel) would have been an appropriate retrofit. Maybe go to aths.org and float the question about the grill. My guess is that it would be worth far more in history and money if you keep it original. Most people would love to get a KW that old. Especially if it has a working award like it does. Bruce
