Re: Whats a good price for a dodge?Posted by Hal/WA on July 04, 2002 at 12:46:29 from (208.8.194.55): In Reply to: Whats a good price for a dodge? posted by Adam on July 03, 2002 at 16:32:19: Has it been stored inside? That would be very important in deciding how much to offer. Rust is the big enemy. I do not know of any aftermarket body parts for the old Dodges, but they might be out there. The Dodges are less common or popular than Fords or Chevies, but that might make it cheaper. Some of the Dodges had fluid drive, which was hard on gas mileage and might be hard to fix these days if it is or goes bad. The 6 cylinder engines were produced for many years and parts should be easy to find for them. When I am thinking of buying something like that, I usually try to get the owner to put a price on it. Sometimes they want to get rid of the item and price it lower than I would have paid. Or they might think it is worth a whole lot more than I do. If they price it, and you agree to that price, then there are no hard feelings.
