C60 Brake Wheel Cylinder Replacement help

Posted by Engine One Eight on March 19, 2006 at 16:43:31 from (216.150.124.80):

Pulled the axles and hub off the 2 speed rearend on my 79 model Chevy C60 to fix some broken wheel studs. Found one of the brake cylinder leaking so need to fix this also. I can pick up the part at the truck supply but have a couple questions on the install. Is there a way to put it in without tearing the brake pads and springs off the backing plate? I did not see a nipple for bleeding the brakes like on my 3/4 ton truck. Any tips?

Thanks
E18
