Nothing from the 292 will bolt to anything except other early Y blocks, the 428 takes a special flywheel, other FE engines like 332, 352, 360, 390 work real good. Its a simple swap with them, from a truck salvage yard, pick up a light duty, 330 flywheel, only a light duty 330 flywheel will work, also get the bellhousing, it will bolt down same place as the 292, get the timing cover from the light duty 330, its cast iron, and the front mount that goes with it. You will need to weld a piece of iron onto the front cross member for the front mount to bolt onto, get a clutch and preasure plate and starter for the light duty 330, and you're in bussness. The exhaust will be easy to fabrecate.
