My first thought was that there might be a bad spot on the flywheel, but turning the motor over didn't help. This does have the solenoid mounted on the bottom of the firewall, hard to get to, but I could try jumping between the posts. I pulled the battery out of a tractor, seems fine and has been starting the tractor. When it did not turn, I added a quick jump from my F350 with the same results.
