1967 F100 with FMX transmissionPosted by BTD on July 08, 2002 at 09:07:29 from (198.36.89.12):
I just bought a great 1967 F100. The body is in excellent shape baring a big dent in the bed I'll have to fix. It was recently brought here (Michigan) from Arizona, she's never seen road salt and I plan to keep it that way. Anyway, the transmission is a Ford FMX, according to the 14 bolts on the pan. I'm having trouble convincing the truck to go into 3rd gear, I'm going to replace the vacuum modulator tonight and check the fluid, the vacuum at the transmission is strong. The fluid was replaced when the truck left Arizona (It was driven to Michigan). Anything else I should look for?
