The turn signals use a separate flasher from the 4-way flashers, so that could have failed, or just become dislodged from it's socket.

Also, likely there is a separate fuse for the turn signals.

Check those items first!

Other possibilites are a bad turn signal switch, or a broken wire in the steering column.

(The wiring to the lights is OK, because the 4-way flashers and the brake lights use the same wires, although a bare spot somewhere COULD have blown the turn signal fuse, if that turns out to be the problem.)
